A young woman who was brutally attacked and s*xually assaulted by a another man has told of her tragic experience.

The young English woman was been r*ped inside a taxi in Brazil in
the latest of a wave of s*x attacks which have shocked the country.
According to Mirror Online, police in Sao Paulo yesterday arrested
taxi driver Fabio Honorata da Silva after the 27-year-old reported the
attack, after she left a restaurant on Saturday night.
Staff had called a taxi for the woman, who doesn't speak Portuguese, using the widely-used 99 Taxis app, according to reports.
She told detectives that soon after picking her up the driver
attempted to fondle and kiss her, and when she refused, parked his cab
in a deserted road and locked the doors.
The woman claimed she was forced to perform a s*x act on Da Silva before being raped on the back seat of his Chevrolet Prisma.
Following the attack, the taxi driver reportedly asked the woman to
calm down before giving her his contact details and asking her to meet
him again.
According to police, when she managed to leave the vehicle the
woman took a picture of the numberplate and also kept the condom he had
worn.
When she arrived back at her flat, her flatmate took her to a local hospital, where she was sedated.
Police arrested Da Silva after arranging a meeting with the taxi
driver at a petrol station by pretending to be the woman, who reportedly
became ill when she had to recognise her attacker at the police
station.
The incident is the latest in a wave of rapes which have shocked Brazil and sparked a wave of protests across the country.
