Mixed martial artist, Kimbo Slice has died at the age of 42
Bahamian-born American mixed martial artist, boxer and occasional
actor, Kevin Ferguson, better known as Kimbo Slice, has died at the age
of 42, multiple sources have confirmed.
The UFC fighter who rose to fame through street fighting videos on
YouTube, was hospitalized in Coral Springs, Florida on Monday for
undisclosed reasons as his cause of death has not been released,
although police said there was no foul play involved.

The Police appeared at Slice's South Florida home on Monday to talk
to his family members while the MMA fighter was in the hospital.
CNN reported that Sergeant Carla Kmiotek said there were no police or EMS calls made before Slice was hospitalized.
In a statement by Bellator president, Scott Coker confirmed Slice's death and said, 'We are all shocked and saddened by the devastating and untimely loss of Kimbo Slice.
'One of the most popular MMA fighters ever, Kimbo was a
charismatic, larger-than-life personality that transcended the sport.
Outside of the cage he was a friendly, gentle giant and a devoted family
man.
'His loss leaves us all with extremely heavy hearts, and our
thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ferguson family and all of
Kimbo's friends, fans, and teammates,' Coker said.
