Two pupils, Tochukwu Ene and Chukwuemeka Ugwu, who were Junior Secondary School JSS III students of the Federal Government College, Okposi, in Ohaozara council Area of Ebonyi State were kidnapped on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 on the day they finished their Junior NECO exams.
The boys were kidnapped as they left their school by unknown people who never asked for any ransom for their release.
Unfortunately, ten days after they went missing, their decomposing bodies to be found in a local river in the area.
A family source of one of the deceased who interviewed with the Nation in Enugu on Tuesday said the bodies of the boys were found floating in a local river on Sunday, May 22nd, 2016. The source also added that no ransom was sought by the kidnappers from the boys’ parents. The boys parents Barrister and Mrs Bato Ene and Mrs. Bonny Ugwu, aka Bonjoe, were never contacted to pay any ransom or anything by the kidnappers who murdered their children.
