An old woman has spoken out about the shocking moment she was raped to coma by a serial rapist who had terrorized many Lagos residents.

Madam Belawu Jimoh, the 86-year-old woman, has narrated how she was r*ped to coma by a suspected serial rapist, popularly known as Badoo in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
Badoo, who also allegedly raped and murdered a 27-year-old school teacher, Grace Jubreel, in her home in the presence of her 14-month-old baby in Ibeshe community in Ikorodu, was apprehended by the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of the state Police Command.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Dolapo Badmos, who was said to have confirmed his arrest at the weekend, said the police had received several reports of r*pe committed by the suspect.
Badmos said, “Badoo, as he is fondly called, is a suspected serial rapist. All the reports we have gotten have been pointed towards him as the suspect.
“We launched a three-day manhunt on him and arrested him with the help of angry residents who almost lynched him before our intervention.
“He is in our custody and investigations are ongoing, after which he will be charged to court,”the PPRO added.
Speaking with newsmen on Monday, the octogenarian recalled how she was attacked by the serial rapist and murderer two weeks ago.
She said, “He waylaid me at my residence when I just came out of our public bathroom. He followed me into my room, covered my mouth with cloth and raped me mercilessly. I lost consciousness.
“I screamed but no one heard me,” Madam Jimoh said.
The victim, a resident of Oke Ota, Ibeshe area of Ikorodu, expressed happiness that her attacker had been apprehended.
